Our first ever Maritime Ensemble Week – MEW – is about start. Jennifer and Sibylle have worked hard in preparation and our participants are arriving tomorrow for the Welcome BBQ. Great repertoire and wonderful adult amateur players. Concerts on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and the big final bash on Saturday. Details to come.

Todd and Sibylle had some wonderful experiences playing for Concerts in Care this past week. It is such a pleasure to bring music to care facilities and retirement homes, where the residents can’t go out to concert halls anymore. What a great organization! (image thanks to D.Mazierski)

Sibylle & Todd will embark on a new round of Concerts in Care in Toronto on July 26th. There will be some Scriabin and Rachmaninoff fresh off a solo recital by brilliant Todd and some beautiful flute gems of Schubert and Godard , as well as the fantastic Hindemith 8 pieces for solo flute!

Trio d’Argento welcomes Paul Pulford! Paul is not only one of the most accomplished musicians in Canada, but his cello playing brings a whole new world of repertoire possibilities and we are very excited to bring these new sounds to BC on our tour in January 2020.
