Flute Class 2025-26

With more responsibilities as Director of Canada – Roots of Empathy, my flute class was “small but mighty”.

Iniya is going on to study flute performance at McGill University after winning 1st prize at the Canadian Music Festival Nationals, multiple scholarships, and being part of the NSYO – Congratulations!

The Maritime Conservatory gave scholarships to Iniya, Leila and Frankie for their excellent performances and Frankie will be heard in the Nova Scotia Youth Orchestra this coming year – Bravo tutti!

Flute Class Year-End News

And my Adult Flute Ensemble had a great last performance at the Conservatory Adult Recital at the end of April. 🎶

Getting ready to go!

VOX HUMANA Première

It was a pleasure performing the première of Sandy Moore’s song cycle “VOX HUMANA” of poems by Alex Pierce for the Open Waters Festival.

Great group of musicians: Paula Rockwell/mezzo, Michael Donovan/baritone, Jennifer King/piano, Susan Sayle/viola, Norman Adams/cello and Denise Grant/conductor!
