Hello, I want to let you know that Long & McQuade and Gemeinhardt Flutes are pleased to present a workshop with American flutist & composer Robert Dick on Saturday, November 25th from 2:00-4:00 in the Long & McQuade Clinic Hall located at 935 Bloor Street West. Admission is free.

This is great for anybody who wants to learn about extended techniques or circular breathing!

Thanks again to the OAC for the support for the wonderful piece Kevin Lau wrote for our trio. We premiered it last Thursday at the COC – again standing ovations for an incredible concert program, including Alice Ho’s great piece “The mysterious boot”, Schmitt’s Sonatine and Connesson’s Techno Parade. We’ll be playing at the COC in the Richard Bradshaw Amphitheatre next Thursday, November 2nd, 12-1pm. Our program has Kevin Lau’s world premiere “Music Universalis” and “The mysterious boot” by Alice Ho, as well as the Sonatine by Florent Schmitt and Guillaume Connesson’s Techno Parade. This is a free event – please come out and hear this great program!
