Maritime Ensemble Week

Our first ever Maritime Ensemble Week – MEW – is about start.

Jennifer and Sibylle have worked hard in preparation and our participants are arriving tomorrow for the Welcome BBQ.

Great repertoire and wonderful adult amateur players. Concerts on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and the big final bash on Saturday.

Details to come.

Schubert and more

Todd and Sibylle had some wonderful experiences playing for Concerts in Care this past week. It is such a pleasure to bring music to care facilities and retirement homes, where the residents can’t go out to concert halls anymore. What a great organization!

Fantastic TRIO News

Trio d’Argento welcomes Paul Pulford! Paul is not only one of the most accomplished musicians in Canada, but his cello playing brings a whole new world of repertoire possibilities and we are very excited to bring these new sounds to BC on our tour in January 2020.

TOUR Press Release

This November Trio d’Argento is in town with a wonderful variety of interesting musical gems. There’ll be old classical friends like Haydn, Franz Schubert or Camille Saint-Säens, as well as American Russell Peterson’s cool trio touching on jazz and world music, or the brand new piece by Toronto composer Kevin Lau that uses music to introduce the principles of quantum physics.

Trio d’Argento is not your usual trio: with flute, clarinet and piano these three virtuosos perform with technical flair and musical sensitivity. Peter, Sibylle and Todd introduce their programs with humour and make the concert experience fun for the whole family!

This year’s fall tour brings them to Mississauga, Toronto, Vancouver, Whitehorse, Haines Junction, Vernon and Golden.

Audiences have given the trio standing ovations and rave reviews throughout their career and this is a unique concert you won’t want to miss!
